One More Thing…
After watching and digesting the Steve Jobs Macworld 2008 Keynote, I just couldn’t help missing the One More Thing, so I decided to make one up. This is what Steve should have said (going out on a limb at the end though):
“But there is one more thing that I wanted to share with you today. Now what if you want to buy a MacBook Air and an Apple TV, but you don’t want to buy the external superdrive and you live zen with no other computers? Well, we have developed a special Apple TV 2 that has a built-in superdrive, which also functions as a Remote Disc. You can install software on your MacBook Air, even burn CD’s and DVD’s remotely. On the Apple TV you can now also play regular DVD’s and CD’s directly and do the iTunes Digital Copy thing towards your MacBook Air and burn downloaded content directly from your Apple TV. And while we’re at it, it will also run DivX and other codecs that I normally don’t talk about. Oh and did I mention we are working on an integrated Torrent client?”
Oh, and One More Thing from me… Opposed to being upset over the $20,- upgrade for the iPod Touch, I feel somewhat had after buying an Airport Extreme last June with the idea of using it for the Leopard backup thing only to find out that I now seem to have to buy a Time Capsule.
